About Us
Beyond Academics at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is a four year certification for students with developmental disabilities. The course of study prepares students for a self-determined lifestyle emphasizing careers, meaningful avocations, and community living. Through the Office of Undergraduate Studies at UNCG, students completing requirements for graduation receive a certificate in Integrative Community Studies.
Admissions
Application packets consist of and application form, skills assessment tool and a list of other required documents.
Academic Life
Integrative Community Studies at UNCG offers students an interdisciplinary approach to exploring their personal relationships with the community in which they live, as well as the world at large.
Student Life
The Student Life team seeks to ensure that students are supported in accessing UNCG student services and provide support for students to live as independently as possible.
